Dorothy Fay Woodruff, 77, of Friona, Texas, died Monday, Jan. 19, 2004.

She was born on Aug. 1, 1926, in Quitman, Texas, to Wallace Leonard and Elanor Wheeler Reid.

She married Ernest Paul Woodruff on Oct. 18, 1943, in Quitman, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Friona.

She was a resident of Friona since 1958, moving there from Lariat, Texas.

Survivors include four daughters, Shery L. Corder of Clovis, Brenda K. Jackson of Wichita Falls, Texas, Dorothy D. Wilson of Davis, Okla., and Nelda D. Griffith of Terrell, Texas; four sons, Lonnie P. Woodruff of Friona, Gary D. Woodruff of Marietta, Okla., Leonard R. Woodruff of Wichita Falls and Wendall L. Woodruff of Friona; two sisters, Hazel M. Morrows of Duncanville, Texas, and Bonie R. Fikes of Winnsboro, Texas; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Alvin Askins will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Friona Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona.
