Glenn “Tootsy” Hromas, 70, of Bovina, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004.
She was born on Nov. 13, 1933, in Big Springs, Texas, to J.K. Barfield and Thelma Burleson.
She attended public schools in Stanton before moving to Clovis where she graduated high school.
She married Glenn Hromas on June 8, 1952, in Clovis.
They made their home in Bovina before moving to Amarillo in 1978.
She retired from bookkeeping in 1995.
She was a member of the South Georgia Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include three sons, Greg, Rodney and Jeff Hromas; a sister, Lou Ann Cortese of Fort Sumner; a brother, J.K. Barfield III of Texico; three grandsons, Alan, Ryan and Kyle Hromas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Bob Miller will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United We Build Fund at South Georgia Baptist Church, 5209 S. Georgia Street, Amarillo, TX 79110.
Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home of Amarillo.
