Kathryn E. Greget, 76, of Las Cruces died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004, at Mountain View Hospital in Las Cruces.
She was born on June 2, 1927, in San Pedro, Calif., to Joseph Goodwin and Lozie Rawls Snelson.
She graduated from San Pedro High School in 1944. As a young woman she enjoyed swimming, sailing, dancing, and was a member of Buster Crabbe’s USO Synchronized Swimming Team. She was an Air Force wife for 30 years and lived at many air force bases in the United States and Europe. Family members said she was an avid golfer and in recent years enjoyed computers, emailing, the Internet and watching her grandchildren play sports for Roy High School.
Survivors include her husband, Tony M. Greget of Las Cruces; a daughter, Sandy Ray (and husband, Dusty) of Roy; a grandson, Rocky Ray of Austin; and a granddaughter, Wendy Ray Miller (Trey) of Albany, Ore.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be held in the near future at the Ray Ranch in Roy.
Arrangements are by Graham’s Funeral Home of Las Cruces.
