Mrs. Ruth Carter, 83, of Coolidge, Ariz., a retired beauty salon owner/operator, died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, in Casa Grande, Ariz.

She was born on June 15, 1920, in Field, N.M.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Carter of Coolidge, Ariz.; four brothers, Lee Roach, Otis Roach and Roy Roach, all of Clovis and Robert “Jinx” Roach of Hobbs; three grandchildren, Andrew Carter of Florence, Ariz., Tammy Clawson of Las Vegas, Nev., and Debbie Pryor of Casa Grande; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at noon today at Simes Mortuaries Florence Chapel in Florence, Ariz.

Randy Campbell will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Palm Valley View Memorial Park in Las Vegas, Nev.

Arrangements are by Simes Mortuaries Coolidge Chapel of Coolidge, Ariz.
