Walter Anthony “Tony” Thomasson Jr., 48

Walter Anthony “Tony” Thomasson Jr., 48, of Salt Lake City died Dec. 30, 2003, at his home.

He was born on Aug. 4, 1955, in San Angelo, Texas, to Walter Anthony and Pearl Thomasson.

He and his family moved to Aztec where he graduated from Aztec High School in 1973. He was employed by the city of Salt Lake City.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Thomasson of Salt Lake City; a daughter, Amanda Thomasson of Salt Lake City; a son, Charles Thomasson of Salt Lake City; his father, W.A. Thomasson (and wife, Betty) of Nampe, Idaho; his mother, Pearl Thomasson of Portales; three sisters, Sue Dusenbery (Bob) of Aztec, Pat Willis (Jack) of Portales and Debra Averett (Todd) of Salt Lake City; six nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements were by Garner Funeral Home and Mausoleum in Salt Lake City.
