Here are recent dispositions recorded in Curry County District Court:

Vernon Terry Dickson, 21, pleaded guilty to trafficking controlled substances (possession with intent to deliver). Sentenced to nine years in state prison, all but one suspended with court recommendation to be placed in Dickens County jail at administrator’s discretion, with credit for 78 days served. Placed on five years supervised probation with special conditions of $175 lab and DNA fees, drug and alcohol screening and treatment if needed, restitution to be determined, and $35 monthly probation cost. Subject to two years parole release supervision.

Paul Samuel Maes, 48, pleaded guilty to trafficking cocaine. Sentenced to nine years in state prison concurrent with current sentence for violating probation, all but four suspended with credit for 147 days served. Placed on five years supervised probation with special conditions of paying all court costs or fines, drug abuse screening and treatment if needed, $240 DNA, lab, and community fees, and $35 monthly probation cost. Subject to two years parole release supervision.

Harry Graves, 48, admitted to violating probation on Feb. 7, 2002, conviction for possession of cocaine. Probation revoked and new sentence imposed of 18 months in state prison with credit for time served. Subject to one year parole release supervision.

Edgar O. Perales, 41, admitted to violating probation on Oct. 8, 1995 conviction for larceny over $250 and residential burglary. Probation revoked and new sentences imposed of 5 1/2 years and three years, to end on April 17, 2004.

Kevyn S. Crane, 22, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Sentenced to three years in state prison, all suspended, with credit for one day served. Placed on three years supervised probation with special conditions of drug screening and treatment if needed, reporting to probation office within 24 hours of release, $25 monthly probation cost, and $100 DNA testing fee.

Matthew John Jouett, 21, pleaded guilty to child abuse and two counts of possession of methamphetamine. Sentenced to consecutive sentences totaling six years in state prison, all suspended, with credit for two days served. Placed on 3 1/2 years supervised probation with special conditions of completing parenting classes and payment of $175 lab and DNA fees. Subject to two years parole release supervision if imprisoned.

Aurelius M. Houston IV, 20, pleaded guilty to burglary, aggravated assault against a household member, false imprisonment and trafficking controlled substances (possession with intent to deliver). Sentenced to consecutive sentences totaling 15 years in state prison, all but three suspended, with credit for 251 days served. Placed on five years supervised probation with special conditions of victim restitution and medical expenses to be determined, alcohol and drug screening with treatment if needed, $240 DNA, lab and community fees, no contact with victim, and $35 monthly probation costs. Subject to two years parole release supervision.

Joseph Romano, 76, pleaded guilty to aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Judgment deferred three years with credit for 13 days served and placed on unsupervised probation with special conditions of no consumption of alcohol or frequenting establishments where alcohol is served and paying all mandatory fines and fees, and allowed to transfer probation to Florida. Subject to two years parole release supervision if incarcerated.

Brandon Webb, 22, pleaded guilty to custodial interference. Judgment deferred 18 months with credit for 13 days served and placed on supervised probation for same period with special conditions of $25 monthly probation cost, $100 DNA testing fee, and reporting to probation office within 24 hours of release, and allowed to transfer probation to Texas. Subject to one year parole release supervision of incarcerated.

Carl E. Tierney, 36, found guilty in jury trial of child abuse. Sentencing deferred two years with credit for two days served and placed on supervised probation for same period with special conditions of completing anger management, no contact with victim except as agreed by grandmother, no consumption of alcohol or frequenting establishments serving alcohol, and $25 monthly probation fee. Subject to two year parole release supervision if incarcerated.

Timothy Gallegos pleaded guilty to commercial burglary. Proceedings suspended, conditional discharge granted, and placed on 18 months supervised probation with special conditions of $15 monthly probation costs, restitution to be determined, and drug screening with treatment if needed.

Paul Duran, 37, pleaded guilty to six counts of criminal sexual penetration of a child 13 to 18 and four counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor 13 to 18. Sentenced to consecutive terms totaling 15 years with credit for 40 days served in jail or diagnostic evaluation, all but 10 1/2 years suspended. Placed on supervised probation for 4 1/2 years with requirement to register as a sex offender, $100 DNA testing fee, $25 monthly probation costs, victim restitution to be determined, no contact with victims or witnesses, participation in sex offender treatment program, and surrendering of teacher’s license until completion of both jail and probation terms. Subject to one year parole release supervision for each of 10 counts.

Ray J. Gomez, 31, pleaded guilty to kidnapping and armed robbery. Sentenced to consecutive terms totaling 19 years in state prison, all but seven suspended, with credit for 649 days served. Placed on supervised probation with special conditions of victim restitution including medical bills to be determined, paying $601.67 restitution to sheriff’s office, no contact with victim or co-defendant, $100 DNA testing fee, and $25 monthly probation costs. Subject to two years parole release supervision on each count.

Chauncey L’Mar Johnson, 24, pleaded guilty to trafficking cocaine, shooting at or from a motor vehicle and possession of a firearm. Determined to be a habitual offender and sentenced to concurrent terms totaling 10 years in state prison with credit for 249 days served, all but two suspended. Placed on two years supervised probation with special conditions of restitution to be determined, no contact with victims or co-defendants, $175 DNA and lab fees, and $25 monthly probation cost. Subject to two years parole release supervision on each count.

Angelica M. Madrid, 29, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property over $250 and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Sentenced to consecutive terms totaling three years in state prison, all but one year suspended with credit for 47 days served. Placed on supervised probation for three years with special conditions of $240 DNA, lab and community fees, drug and alcohol screening with treatment if needed, and $25 monthly probation costs. Subject to one year parole release supervision on each count.

Richard H. Miller, 27, pleaded guilty to commercial burglary and criminal damage to property. Sentenced to consecutive terms totaling two years in state prison, all but 30 days suspended. Placed on 23 months supervised probation with special conditions of $100 DNA testing fee, $650 victim restitution, substance abuse counseling, and $25 monthly probation costs. Subject to one year parole supervision and allowed to transfer probation to Albuquerque at discretion of probation office.

Paulette K. Maes, 48, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance. Sentenced to three years in state prison, all suspended, with credit for four days served. Placed on supervised probation for same period with special condition of $175 DNA testing and lab analysis fees and $25 monthly probation costs. Subject to two years parole release supervision.

Jeff Hester, 39, pleaded guilty to aggravated battery on a household member. Sentenced to 12 months in county jail, all suspended. Placed on supervised probation for same period with special conditions of no contact with a specified person, anger management counseling, and $25 monthly probation costs.

Daniel F. Hernandez, 33, pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, and shoplifting less than $100. Sentenced to two years and 364 days in state prison with credit for 41 days served and $175 DNA and lab testing fees. Subject to one year parole release supervision.
