Paula Baker, 52, of Amarillo died Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, in Amarillo.
She was born on April 29, 1951, in Amarillo, to Hoyt and Ruth Houck.
She married David Baker on Jan. 1, 1970, in the original chapel of the First Baptist Church in Amarillo. She received a business management degree from Wayland Baptist University. She was employed as the office manager for doctors Kennedy and Stroud. Family members said she was a loving wife, sister and mother. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kim Baker of Dallas; a son, Michael Baker of Waco, Texas; two sisters, Lisa Stidham of Las Vegas, Nev., and Terri Gleaton of Clovis; and her mother.
Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrington Cancer Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home of Amarillo.
