Miss Imogene Godfrey, 74, of Clovis, a retired head bank teller, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, at her home.

She was born Jan. 27, 1929, in Granite, Okla., to James Bryan and Lola Orene Everett Godfrey.

She graduated from Field High School in May 1947 and attended ENMU. She was employed at Citizens Bank in Clovis, Commercial Bank & Trust Co. in Midland, Texas, and in admissions at Clovis Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two sisters, Jimmalee Nieves (and her husband Bennie) and Fern Stewart, all of Clovis; four nephews, Dr. Keith Barker (and Raynette) and Tommy Firestone (and Pam), all of Clovis, Dr. Paul Nieves (and Debbie) of Newton, Iowa, and Ronald Firestone (and Jill) of Carrolton, Texas; and several great-nieces and -nephews.

Cremation has taken place.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home.
