Mrs. Ola Mae Coonfield, 90, of Clovis, a retired retail sales manager, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, in Clovis.

She was born on Feb. 19, 1913, in Fluvana, Texas, to C.C. and Lelia Barnes Pyle.

She had been a resident of Clovis most of her life. She graduated from Clovis High School in 1929. She worked for Stanley’s for many years and then Harbey’s Gift Shop. She had been a member of First Baptist Church since 1927. She was a charter member of Llano Estacado Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jimmy Hanes; her second husband, Bill Coonfield; two brothers, Carl and Floyd; and two sisters, Gladys and Ethel.

Survivors include a sister, Lillian Ulary of Tucumcari; a niece, Letha Howard (and husband, Bob) of Clovis; and three nephews, Loyd Norton (Kathryn) of Fresno, Calif., Jay Ulary (Paletta) of Cedar Park, Texas and Charles Ulary (Francita) of Lewisville, Texas.

The Rev. Joel Horne will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Martin, Eldon Jones, James Joiner, Lee Roach, Marlon Inman and Terry Townsend.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis.
