Ned Eugene Campbell, 85, of Clovis, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003, at Retirement Ranch.

He was born on Nov. 17, 1917, in Clovis.

He was a farmer and a painter for many years. He served in the Army during World War II.

He was a charter member of First Christian Church in Clovis and a resident of the Retirement Ranch for the past 18 years.

He is survived by three daughters, Sherwyn Sherman (and husband, Keith) of Moses Lake, Wash., Myrna Beaver (Rick) of Ransom Canyon, Texas, and Jody Self (Dudley) of Clovis; eight grandchildren, Faith, Keith II, Brian, Brenda, Stuart, MaDawn, Jonathan and Jennifer; 10 great-grandchildren, BJ, Cory, Eric, Brent, Ashlee, Adam, Morgan, Grant, Mason and Justin; a nephew, John Campbell (Joan) of Albuquerque.

The Rev. Jon Forrest will officiate the services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the El Porvenir Church Camp in care of First Christian Church, 1700 N. Main, Clovis 88101.
