PERRY JACKSON
Perry Jackson, 18, is the son of Phil and Camille Jackson and is a senior at Clovis High School.
Tell us about your pets? My pet is a cocker Spaniel named Maggie. She is about two years old and I have had her for about a year.
What is so great about your favorite sport? My favorite sport is golf, and it is great because it teaches life long lessons. You can learn humility, humbleness, and respect. You also learn patience, confidence, and mental toughness. Plus it is fun and you have to have fun in your life.
Who is your hero and why? My hero is my sister, April. She is the smartest, funniest and most self-dependent person I know. She is always there for me when I need her, and I have learned countless lessons from her. My life wouldn’t be the same without her.
What is your most prized possession? I have two prized possessions, one of them is my golf clubs. I have learned so much from the game of golf and wouldn’t trade my lessons for anything else in the world. The other is my Bible. I can’t express the feelings I have on this subject, but I would be lost without the Lord.
What is your motto? Don’t be afraid to succeed, because fear is failure.

School activities: Golf, Choir, Key Club, Tuxedo Junction - Show Choir.
Church/community activities: Youth Group Fairview Primitive Baptist Church, Meals On Wheels, other community service activities.
Hobbies: Golf, singing, hanging out with friends, visiting my sister.
Future plans: Attend college, play golf at college, become a golf coach for high school or college.
ALLISON WILEY
Allison Wiley is the daughter of Gary and D’Ann Wiley and is in the 9th grade at Yucca Junior High School.
What is your theme song? “Fighter” by Christina Aguilera.
What do you envision your life being like in 10 years? In 10 years I would like to be out of college with a job and possibly married and starting a family.
If I could do anything ... I would go skydiving.
What is your greatest hope? To cheer in college.
Tell us about a time when you were afraid ... I was scared to move to Clovis in the sixth grade, but looking back on the experience, I wouldn’t change a thing!
Offices held: Student council representative, treasurer of National Junior Honor Society, Yucca cheerleader captain, yearbook editor.
honors received: Outstanding Academic Achievement Awards in Math, Science, English and History, National Academic Academy Award in Math and English, UCA All Star cheerleader 8th and 9th grade.
School activities: Cheerleading, honor society, journalism, FCA.
Church/community activities: Member of Central Baptist Church Youth Group.
Hobbies: Tumbling, shopping, hanging out with friends.
Future plans: After graduating I plan to attend Texas Tech University, where I would major in finance.
RANDI POARCH
Randi Alexandra Poarch is the daughter of Randy and Patti Poarch and is in the second grade at Mesa Elementary School.
What is your idea of a perfect day? My idea of a perfect day would be having my mom do whatever I want.
What is your greatest hope? My greatest hope is to get a new car for Christmas.
What is your favorite smell? My favorite smell is cinnamon roll oatmeal.
What is your greatest hope? To cheer in college.
Tell us about a time when you were afraid ... I was scared to move to Clovis in the sixth grade, but looking back on the experience, I wouldn’t change a thing!
honors received: Mesa Mustang Student of Character Awards, Princess of King Richard’s Fair, Super Reader Awards.
School activities: Family reading night.
Church/community activities: Sunday Bible Study, Childrens Choirs, Bible Buddies at Parkland Baptist Church, Brownies Troop 514.
Hobbies: I like crafts, playing with my two Bichon Frise dogs, Taluce and Berloise, and art lessons with Mrs. Odom.
Future plans: I plan to be a veterinarian, President of the U.S., and in my spare time I would like to be a doctor.
TREVAUN SANDERS
Trevaun Sanders is the son of Michael and Kim Tipton and is in the fourth grade at Highland Elementary School.
Who is your favorite entertainer? Jim Belushi
Who is your hero and why? My mom and dad, because they always encourage me to do my very best.
Tell us about your greatest individual accimplishment ... Being the only student my teacher has taught who read “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea” in under one week and passed the test with a 95.
What is your favorite part about school? Learning and going to the library.
What is your most prized possession? My Bible, I can always turn to it for answers.
honors received: America’s Top 10, Straight A Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance, Top AR Reader, Outstanding Acheivement.
Church/community activities: Being an acolyte and visiting area nursing homes.
Hobbies: Reading, playing soccer and baskeball, rock collecting, and going to space camp.
Future plans: I plan on going to college and becoming a scientist or an archeologist.
