JOSEPH CASILLAS

Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at The Chapel, 1500 Thornton in Clovis.Joseph “Joe Bob” P. Casillas, 49, of Chandler, Ariz., died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, in Chandler.

He was born on Sept. 1, 1954, in Clovis, to John and Geneva Sparks Casillas.

He worked for the Safeway Milk Plant for 22 years. Family members said he was a dedicated and beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend to many. He loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhart, and spending time with his NASCAR extended family at the Phoenix International Raceway.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include four brothers, Ric Valentine of Stuart, Fla., Michael Casillas, Billy Casillas (and wife, Susan) and Glen Berry, all of Clovis; three sisters, Fran Savage and Shauna Burris (Robert), all of Amarillo and Kathy Stallings (Larry) of Keller, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.


The Rev. Rob Hollis will officiate the services.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Victory Junction Gang Camp, 311 Branson Mill Road, Randleman, N.C. 27317.

The family will be at 1213 Hinkle in Clovis.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
