Rubie Carmichael of Portales celebrated her 100th birthday this weekend at Central Baptist Church in Clovis.

A party was hosted by her daughter, Chloe, family and friends.

She was born on Nov. 7, 1903, in Rush Springs, Okla.

She has one child; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
