Joseph Edward Hill, 56, of Round Lake Beach, Ill., died Friday, Sept. 12, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Ill.

He was born on July 14, 1947, in Waukegan, Ill., to Joann and Joseph Blue.

He met Corina Pena while in the Air Force and stationed at Cannon Air Force Base. They were married on Jan. 17, 1970, in Portales, and soon moved to Round Lake Beach.

Family members said he loved golf, bowling, fishing and the company of others.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Barbara.

Survivors include his wife; his mother; one son, Gordon Hill; siblings Vernon Blue (Brenda), Linda Gonzalez (Ismael), Bernard Blue, Naomi Garcia (Francisco), Douglas Blue, Gordon Blue (Jeanne), Kevin Blue (Debbie), Melvin Blue (Kris), Terry Foy (Jim), Larry Blue (Cindy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family members suggest memorials be made to a favorite charity.
