Ms. Amanda Caroline Hope Tenorio, 21, of Moriarty, a student, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, near Clovis.
She was born Feb. 18, 1982, in Albuquerque, to Virginia Encinias and Gerald Tenorio.
She graduated from Moriarty High School in 2001. She was a student at Eastern New Mexico University. She was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega sorority. Family members said she was full of life and ambition and will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend.
She is survived by her parents; two sisters, Jamie and Veronica Tenorio; grandmother, Deluvinia Encinias; grandfather, Gilbert Tenorio; five aunts, Roberta Tafoya (and husband, Michael), DeAnn Orio (Robert), Yolanda Lopez (Chris), Barbara Sena (Clarence) and Maggie Tenorio; three uncles, Jake Tenorio (Debbie), Edward Tenorio and Curt Tenorio (Nadalie).
Father Anthony Martinez will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty.
Pallbearers will be Edward Tenorio, Joe Sanchez, Nathan Nunez, Dusty Moyers, Michael and Greg Salazar, Max Sisneros and Julian Lopez.
Honorary bearers will be Bridget Chavez, Amalie Salazar, Carey Romero and Monica Porter.
Arrangements are by Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty.
