Mr. Ernest G. Sena, 81, of Clovis, a retired railroad worker, died Thursday, July 24, 2003, at his home in Clovis.

He was born Aug. 7, 1921, in Clovis to Ignacio and Hilarita Gallegos Sena.

A lifetime resident of Clovis, he married Sally Pacheco on Jan. 14, 1939, in Clovis, where he worked for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Survivors include seven sons, Alex Sena of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jerry Sena of Midland, Texas, Kurt Sena, Sam Sena, Joe Sena and Ernest Sena Jr., all of Clovis, and Ron Sena of Charleston, S.C.; one daughter, Gloria Hickman of Orange Grove, Calif.; one sister, Nora Pacheco of Clovis; and 18 grandchildren.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Deacon Daniel Chavez will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories.

Pallbearers will be Kurt, Joe, Jerry, Ernie, Sam, Alex and Ron Sena.

The family will be at 3120 Mandell Circle.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
