Mrs. Karen Sue Shayotovich, 59, of Clovis, a purchasing supervisor of supplies for Bank of America-US Operations, died Saturday, June 21, 2003, in Clovis.

She was born May 21, 1944, in Tucumcari, to Ola and Paul Yates.

She was a volunteer and a board member of the American Red Cross Zia Chapter in Clovis for several years. She was an avid participant at the Ned Houk Park Race Track, with her husband building the cars and she racing them. Please join us in remembering this wonderfully unique lady and share your stories of how she affected your life.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James A. Green; and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel P. Shayotovich of Clovis; two sons, Marty Green (and wife, Melany) of Palmer, Alaska, and Doug Green (and wife, Carol) of Vacaville, Calif.; a daughter, Kathy Coatney of Livermore, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Green of Livermore; two sons-in-law, Jim McKenzie of Livermore and Woody Gant of Manteca, Calif.; two brothers, Ralph Adams (and wife, Jo Del) of Gun Barrel City, Texas, and Leonard Adams (and wife, Helen) of Mabank, Texas; a sister, Eloise Edwards (and husband, Ron) of Clovis; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 15 nieces and nephews.

The Rev. Dick Ross will officiate the services.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Red Cross.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
