Stop the presses — I’ve got nothing new to write about, I’ve reached the end of the Internet.
Not really.
There are thousands of new Web sites posted every day — I will never run out of things to write about.
Now that’s great job security.
Last week, I mentioned the fact that a new cybercafe (www.javaloft.com) was going to be opening up in town shortly, and shortly after that, I started thinking about what kind of features and services I’d have in my own wired cafe. Then, I got to thinking — maybe I’d like to hear what my readers have for ideas.
So, I’m inviting each and everyone of you to e-mail me. Let me know what your “dream” cybercafe would be like — be creative, think outside the box and share your ideas. I reckon there has to be a prize — you know, some kind of incentive for submitting your ideas, so I’ll try to figure something out in the next few weeks.
Then, in September sometime, I’ll pull one of the e-mails out of a hat, and we’ll have us an official drawing. I’ll announce the winner in a future column.

The Web site is nicely designed, contains a lot of great information, and in many ways, conveys the theme and styling of the film.
Knowledge — the key to success. Sounds like a line from a motivational tape, doesn’t it? But, the statement is true and bears quite a bit of significance. What got me to thinking about knowledge was that anyone who has spent any time at all on the Internet must, by now, have realized what a treasure trove of knowledge they have access to. It’s absolutely incredible the amount of information we have at our fingertips at any given time. Just compare now with even 10 years ago — there is a dramatic difference.

Just last week, I was able to apply and be accepted for admission, and register for some fall semester classes — all, without a hitch.
If, you have a desire to increase your knowledge but don’t have time to take full-fledged college courses, you can utilize the vast resources of the Internet. You’d be surprised at the variety of material offered — both free and paid.

You will discover a number of free courses available. Of course, the service would like you to purchase some training from them (very reasonably priced), but — free is free.
I’ve found yet another Web site, that serves as a reference resource. This site is loaded with useful tools, so don’t overlook it or underestimate its value.
It’s the place to be when you’re hungry for information. I know, most of you have probably heard of Matt Drudge, author of “The Drudge Report”? Well, this Web site is the brainchild of his father, Bob.
Don’t get a headache, though, trying to absorb everything all at once — the Internet is going to be around for a long time.
