Mr. Michael Wade Hutchins, 39, of Levelland, Texas, a general contractor, died Monday, May 26, 2003, at Covenant Hospital in Levelland.

He was born on July 19, 1963, in Clovis.

He was born and raised in Clovis. He moved to Levelland in 2000. While in Clovis he owned and operated Timberline Development and Construction Co. In Levelland he worked for Home Depot. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and had attended First Church of the Nazarene and Church of the Brethren in Clovis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Gary, David and Jerry; and a sister, Mary.

He is survived by his wife, Jana Hutchins of Levelland; a son, Tommy Hutchins of Levelland; a daughter, Leah Hutchins of Levelland; three brothers, Larry Hutchins of Tucson, Ariz., Neal Hutchins of Albuquerque and Alan Hutchins of Clovis; and four sisters, Amy Bubbico and Dorothy Hutchins, both of Albuquerque, Suzy Zelinski of Olathe, Kan., and Carol Ferguson of Bethany, Okla.

The Rev. Jim Kelly will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Pallbearers will be Kevin and Kenny Akens, Larry and Alan Hutchins and Gilbert Gonzales.

Honorary pallbearers will be Neil Hutchins, Bert Stockard and John H. Criss.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
