Mr. Ben. O. “Pappy Ben” Smart, 86, of Arvada, Colo., a furniture dealer, died Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at the Wheatridge Manor Nursing Home in Arvada.

He was born on Feb. 27, 1917, in Roosevelt County.
