Ms. Vallie Eulala Sears, 104, of Clovis, a retired cashier, died Sunday, May 25, 2003, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

She was born on June 7, 1898, in Waco, Texas, to Benjamin and Ella Reynolds Hudgins.

She moved to Clovis from Dallas, in 1923. She worked as a cashier at the newsstand of the Santa Fe Railroad for 25 years. She was a Jehovah’s Witness.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ivan L. Sears; and a granddaughter, Beverly Gail Nance.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Lee of Clovis; a grandson, Bob Lee (and wife, Janie) of Galveston, Texas; two great-grandsons, Robert Lee IV and William Lee; and three great-great-grandchildren, Allison, Brittney and Trent.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.

Chester Beavers officiated the services.

Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home of Amarillo.
