Police arrested four teenagers for drinking beer at the intersection of 17th Street and Avenue I on Saturday.

One of the teenagers was arrested immediately for holding a beer can at the time the officer arrived. The other three decided to throw the cans about 20 feet. They were all arrested on charges of minor in possession.

A juvenile female was arrested for attempting to steal a coffee drink valued at $1.19 from a local grocery store on June 13.

Workers at the store noticed the 14-year-old slide the bottled drink into her purse. The workers contacted police shortly thereafter.

Police charged the juvenile with shoplifting and released her to her guardian. The grocery store recouped the $1.19.
