Gayle Jones, 54

Gayle D. Jones, 54, of Plainview, died Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born on Nov. 21, 1948, in Olney, Texas, to Carroll and Mattie Grubbs Boland.

She was raised and attended school in Portales. She married Derrell Jones on April 21, 1980, in Portales. She was a homemaker and a Methodist.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Robby Jones of Albuquerque; one daughter, Deana Privett of Clovis; two sisters, Carolyn Pruit of Portales and Brenda Selman of Gladewater, Texas; two brothers, Harold Boland of Longview, Texas, and Carrol Boland of Gladewater; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 9:30-10:30 a.m. (CDT) Saturday at Campbell Funeral Home in Spur, Texas.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. (CDT) Saturday at Red Mud Cemetery in Dickens County, Texas.
