    Friday was Roosevelt County Detention Center Interim Administrator Charles Perez’s last day on the job. County Manager Charlene Hardin said Perez submitted a letter of resignation Nov. 6. She said Perez indicated he wanted to return to law enforcement. “We will have the information about the new administrator on Monday,” Hardin said.     Freedom Communications Freedom Communications has received a letter of intent to purchase the East Valley Tribune in Mesa, Ariz., and keep the Pulitzer-Prize winning newspaper and Web site operating, Publisher Julie Moreno said Friday. Freedom, which is operating under Chapter 11 of the Federal Bankruptcy Code, will seek approval from the bankruptcy judge to complete the sale by the end of this year, she said.
