One Portales resident is showing there's no age restrictions on giving back. With the help of family friend Kerri Smith and her mother Tiffany Kendrick, 4-year-old Keslynn Thompson this year established a new project called "Keslynn's Reloveables." CLOVIS — The board of the Eastern New Mexico Water Utility Authority will convene Monday morning in a special meeting to approve final additions to an interim pipeline construction project that members signed off on last week. ALAMOGORDO — A former airman was arrested Tuesday in Alamogordo in connection with computer fraud charges from his time stationed at Cannon Air Force Base. After a year-and-a-half absence, a new group of Red Cross volunteers has been established for Curry and Roosevelt Counties. Team Captain Sam Bernal said since February the Red Cross has responded to five fires in the area and provided assistance in the form of a debit card used to pay for hotel rooms, food, clothing and other immediate needs, with the amount received based on the number of family members and ages of children.
