    CLOVIS — One person was killed and three injured Wednesday afternoon in a one-car rollover in Curry County, according to a release from the Curry County Sheriff's Office. Cameron Hill, 36, of Clovis, was killed in the crash near the intersection of County roads F and 6, according to the release.     The man on the other side of the coin from The Day The Music Died passed away. The death of guitarist and former Buddy Holly bandmate Tommy Allsup, 85, was confirmed Wednesday by his family.     PORTALES — That smell was no cause for alarm, according to area fire officials. Dozens of Roosevelt County residents, from Portales to Dora and elsewhere, reported gaseous smells on Tuesday night. Portales Fire Chief Gary Nuckols said the odor originated from oil fields in the southern part of the county. “Those were odors coming from the tank batteries from the oil fields,” he said.
