    TUCUMCARI — Despite incomplete data, the Fired Up festival Sept. 29 in downtown Tucumcari surpassed its goal of 4,000 people attending.     Clovis High School's band beat out the competition, and an unexpected distraction, to take top honors at Saturday's Denver City (Texas) Marching Festival. The band took the grand champion trophy, along with top honors in the big school classification and the soloist and drum major awards.     ROSWELL — For J.C Wagner, the fair is something she looks forward to — not so much for the carnival rides and food booths, but for its agriculture component. The daughter of an alfalfa farmer just outside of Roswell, Wagner, 13, each year actively participates in the fair, taking part in the animal competitions and being a part of such agricultural organizations as 4H and Future Farmers of America.     TUCUMCARI — A local man is accused of having a role in a shooting at a Wyoming bar and remains jailed on $500,000 cash-only bond.
