Junior running back Miguel Vasquez broke off an 83-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and Farwell made it stand up for a 6-0 win over Sudan in the District 3-2A Division II opener for both teams. Vasquez finished with 112 yards on 10 carries for the Steers (5-1), who were limited to 278 total yards by the Hornets (3-3). Sudan, meantime, managed just 165 yards and turned the ball over...
