  • Woman sentenced for drug trafficking

    Staff report A Deming woman was sentenced Thursday to 78 months in prison in accordance with a plea agreement on charges related to trafficking methamphetamine, according to a release from the U.S. Department of Justice. Tina Tafoya, 33, will also be required to serve five years of supervised probation.
