    CASPER, Wyoming — The third time was the charm for ENMU senior Landon Beardsworth at the College National Finals Rodeo Thursday night. After unsuccessfully trying to record a time in steer wrestling on his first two go-rounds, earlier in the week, Beardsworth managed to have a solid run on his third attempt of the week.     CLOVIS — Three inmates escaped from the Clovis jail about 11 a.m. Friday and remained at large Friday night. Officials said area residents should "use caution and be alert for strangers." The escapees were identified as Aaron Clark, Ricky Sena and Victor Apodaca. Records show Clark, 31, had been in jail accused of child abuse.     CLOVIS — A man charged with killing a co-worker at a Curry County dairy on Thursday told police he acted in self-defense. But Jose Flores Espana’s statement was “inconsistent with the other witnesses,” court records show, and Flores Espana was charged with murder in the death of Mairon Franco Rodriguez, 23, of Texico.
