    Staff report Halfway through May, Clovis is on pace to set a record for rainfall in the month. With 1.48 inches recorded in the past week, the city has seen 6.92 inches so far this month. The Clovis record for rainfall in May is 11.87 inches set in 1941, which was also the wettest year in Clovis history, according to data provided by the National Weather Service.
