    PORTALES — The Eastern New Mexico University baseball team is likely headed for the Lone Star Conference tournament. Coming into this weekend’s four-game home series with UT Permian Basin, the Greyhounds needed to win at least two games for a shot at the LSC dance.   • Farwell says yes to both bonds

    FARWELL — School district voters in Farwell approved both bond issues in Saturday's election. A proposal for $6.15 million to be used for renovations and roof replacements was approved with 147 votes for and 96 votes against while an additional $3.23 million for a new vocational ag building and other projects received 126 votes for and 116 votes against.
