  • Lady Rams third in Hobbs Invitational

    HOBBS — Playing a bit shorthanded, the Portales Lady Rams finished third on Tuesday in the Hobbs Invitational. PHS put two players in the top six in the tournament, with junior Paige Hartman shooting 40-44 — 84 to finish in a three-way tie for second while senior Tylar Rowley shot 47-39 — 86 for a share of fifth. The Lady Rams were without senior Gabby Espinoza, who sustained minor injuries in a car accident on Monday. Lovington won the tournament at 366, edging out Clovis by a stroke.
