The Raiders are coming off of their second-straight hard-luck loss, 20-14 in overtime against the Las Cruces Kings. Both teams took last weekend off due to the Easter holiday.     HOBBS — Clovis High senior Alek Mendoza and sophomore Meera Shah teamed up to win girls doubles competition while junior Lexie Bonestroo took girls singles on Friday in a six-school tournament hosted by Hobbs High. Clovis High's boys and girls combined for 33 points to finish third in the tournament behind New Mexico Military (52) and Hobbs (37).     Eastern New Mexico University's Lone Star Conference baseball doubleheader against Incarnate Word at Greyhound Field was called in the bottom of the first of the opener due to high wins which made visibility difficult. The Cardinals scored four runs in the top of the first and the Greyhounds had runners at first and third with one out when the game was stopped.   • State: More than two dozen court employees file compensation claims

    The state has notified Curry County that more than two dozen District Court employees have filed worker's compensation claims over a fluid leak in the courthouse last month. But at least one of those on the list, District Judge Stephen Quinn, said there is reason to question it. Quinn said he hasn't filed a claim and has no intention of doing so despite his name appearing on the list of those who supposedly filed.
