    Freedom New Mexico A grass fire Friday morning northeast of Portales burned about 150 acres, according to a fire department spokesman. No one was injured in the blaze reported about 11:31 a.m., said Portales Fire Department Lt. Floyd Hancock. Hancock said the fire started on Highway 467 and spread to Roosevelt Roads 2 and 3. “There was quite a bit of damage.     A Curry County grand jury late Friday indicted Clovis police officer Stephen Gallegos on charges of vehicular homicide and great bodily harm by a motor vehicle. Gallegos faces a maximum sentence of nine years in prison if convicted on both third-degree felony counts, according to a press release from District Attorney Matt Chandler.     Do you have any cargo pants in your wardrobe? You know, they have regular pockets and below those there are some bigger pockets with flaps. I think cargo pants are great. I keep my change in one of the lower pockets and it doesn’t roll out when I sit in a car. I have room for a small flashlight on one side and my cell phone on the other. I put my Swiss Army knife in with the flashlight. There’s lots of room for all my stuff. Cargo pants come in shorts too.
