    CLOVIS — The medical marijuana market — both locally and across the state — is far from going up in smoke. According to the New Mexico Department of Health's data, in 2017 Curry county experienced the second-highest growth rate of medical marijuana cardholders out of the 21 counties in the state that began the year with at least 200 cardholders.
