Multiple firefighters from around the region Monday afternoon were on the scene of a fire at the peanut processing plant north of Portales' Walmart just off U.S. 70. Fire Chief T.J. Cathey said one person was injured and transported to Roosevelt General Hospital, but he had no additional information. Three juveniles were robbed at gunpoint and shot at on Saturday afternoon outside Clovis, Curry County Sheriff Michael Brockett said. No injuries were reported. One suspect is in custody and law officers on Saturday night were looking for another suspect. Clovis Municipal Schools has scheduled a community meeting for 7 p.m. Wednesday to review the Facilities Master Plan and related proposals. The Roosevelt County Commission unanimously approved a grant application that would provide funding for various renovations at the Roosevelt County Courthouse. A plane crashed a little after 4 p.m. Monday at Portales Municipal Airport, but no injuries were reported. According to a news release from Portales Fire Chief T.J.
