    A week ago, you could have asked anyone of a certain age who they thought was the most evil person alive, and many of them would have answered without hesitation: Charles Manson. But no more. Last Sunday night Manson died at age 83. He had spent nearly a half-century in prison serving a life sentence. He was one of our worst nightmares and a waste of tax dollars to boot.
