Get ready for parade of fashion at Super Bowl

It’s Super Bowl Sunday and the Philadelphia Eagles will be facing the New England Patriots. Even if your favorite team isn't playing, and you can’t decide who to root for, there are always the commercials and halftime performance to look forward to. But even better is the halftime fashion. Not only are we hopeful for a great show but we get to critique the fashion as well. The Super Bowl starts tonight at 4:30 p.m. MST. Let the games begin.

But until then, here are my top five celebrated people who make the fashion spotlight for past halftime performances:

Up With the People: This group of dancing teens and 20-somethings performed for five halftime shows between 1976-'86. This was a bit before my time but have to mentioned because they were the headliners before celebrities started performing. They didn't receive rave reviews so we'll give them a break as No. 10 fashion pick for the colorful and matching outfits.

Elvis Presto: This Elvis Presley impersonator performed at the Super Bowl in 1989. He is my No. 9 pick because of his cool shiny gold and round jeweled mirror studded jacket and shiny gold pants.

Shania Twain: She performed at the Super Bowl along with No Doubt and Sting in 2003. There's nothing more fun than a great show collaboration. Shania wore a memorable three-piece outfit. A dazzling bustier paired with a sparkly multi-strapped belting over a black skirt and a long leather trench.

The Black Eyed Peas: This pop group takes No. 2 because they’re one of the most flashy Super Bowl performances I remember. They wore lots of black leather at the 2011 halftime show. There were jackets that were installed with color changing flashing lights. Fergie (lead singer) were jewel studded shoulder pads that mimicked football gear paired with a black mini and knee high boots for an all around epic show.

Katy Perry: Collaborating with Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott, Ms. Perry took the stage in 2015 and whether you enjoy a Katy Perry performance or not she always 'comes with' the fashion. Amongst a few wardrobe changes, the one that stood out was her skirted gold suit draped in a design of flames of fire as she stoop atop a prop of a large feline.
