January 18, 2018

CLOVIS — Police on Thursday requested public assistance in identifying a suspect who robbed a local gas station Wednesday morning.

An employee of Allsup’s on the 700 block of East 1st Street told officers a “light complected male” in a dark jacket and blue jeans robbed the convenience store armed with a knife around 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to a Clovis Police Department press release.

The suspect, whose face was covered with what appeared to be a white shirt, was last seen walking west from the store with “a small amount of money.” Officers did not find him after searching the area.

Submit anonymous tips to CPD at or by calling the Curry County Crime Stoppers at 575-763-7000.
