Prompted and aided by the caller, Susan reluctantly steals the money from the safe, with the intent of apologizing to her boss and paying him back over time, but when he is found murdered shortly thereafter and the cash and other items from the safe go missing before reappearing in the trunk of Susan's car, the police instantly suspect Susan herself. Bailey Ruth is the only one who knows Susan is innocent, however, and vows to find the caller and true culprit of the crime, and to reunite Susan and Sylvie.
