ENMU women's soccer team shut out

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The Eastern New Mexico University Greyhounds soccer team (2-6-2; LSC 1-3) fell in a 3-0 loss against Angelo State (6-1-1; LSC 3-0-1) on Sunday.

Angelo State who is ranked seventh in the NCAA division had an early goal in the 25th minute by Trenaday Scott. Cassandra Moosburger added hers in the 36th minute and Mackenzie Broderick made sure she got hers in at the 57th minute.

The Greyhounds couldn’t capitalize in the second half as Angelo State failed to do anything for the remainder of the game. ENMU’s Kaitlyn Caro had two shots with one on goal, followed by Baylee Hampton, Samantha Fabela, and Hayden Zuniga all having one shot taken.

The Hounds take on West Texas A&M on Wednesday in Portales at 7 p.m.
