1957: Eastern New Mexico University theater students geared up for their summer performance of "Show Boat."

The presentation was a result of an ENMU summer workshop. It starred ENMU Senior Robert Hahn and Joanne Wolf.

The workshop, which showed "Oklahoma" in 1956, showed the musical in arena style, according to the director David W. Scott.

1972: A 19-year old Clovis man was listed in good condition after being admitted for a two-car collision on Cameo Street.

Richard Edward Gonzales, 19, suffered head injuries after he collided with a parked car.

The collision occurred at 1:14 a.m. after Gonzales ran a stop sign and lost control of the vehicle.
