Creative trends for great nails

The newest nail trends for this year and 2018 were covered by Harper's Bazaar magazine in June. The magazine revealed what, when and where they reviewed the latest trends. From runway to street style, here’s what might be next for nails:

Rose gold French: Virtually every woman has sampled the timeless French manicure. Someone you know may be a loyal follower to this manicure. It has been sampled in many colors before but the newest trend is the metal tip. Lining your tips with silver, rose gold or a textured 14k is the latest thing and is nothing short of fabulous.

Metallic touch: Spice up your favorite nail color with a an accent of metallic. For example, if you like to wear light, simple pinks you can add a metallic stripe down the middle of your nail. Another great modern metallic for your nails is gold foil and looks great over clear polishes.

Black accents: Black accents are the new highlight for your nail. Whether you choose to line your nails with black striping or curve the color at your cuticle, black makes a great accent with nude colors. Black polish also pairs great with a mixed matching of primary colors such as yellow, blue and red.

Color blocking: Following the black accent suggestion is color blocking. This trend encourages samplings of a bright color mixed with an earthy shade. Try gray nails with yellow tips or brown and blue. The earth tone should be your base accentuated with a splash of color or your own innovative nail design.

Cuticle fun: If you've put off going in for your next fill, outlining your cuticles with a glitter or other favorite color is one of the latest trends. This not only looks really cool but will save you from the embarrassment of putting off your next nail appointment.
