Easter perfect for floral prints

Easter Sunday is only a week away. Not only does the spring holiday afford you an extended weekend, but it’s also one of the few traditional holidays where you can plan your outfit.

When I think of Easter, I think of bright colors. Pretty pastels and chiffon fabrics go hand-in-hand for Easter. Floral prints are the must-have looks of the season. There's not a shortage of this print and you'll find a piece for your everyday wear.

How will you dress your floral this holiday? First, you have to think about what type of print you prefer, what looks good on you and how bold you want your prints to be.

Today’s florals have been revamped. For example, you'll see extra-large rose-printed patches on jackets and sweaters. For the holiday, try on a beautiful pastel dress covered with cherry blossoms or a light yellow with pretty pink florals.

Next, it's okay to mix and match your floral as long as you stay on the same color palette. Try matching a pair of floral printed shoes with your outfit. It's also totally okay to sport matching tops and bottoms and it's a plus to score matching accessories. For instance, sunglasses with floral hardware surrounding the lens frame may be a bit theatrical for some but is the final touch to make your look very chic.

Sometimes it's hard to decide what shoes to wear when wearing prints but you can never go wrong with neutral tones (especially if it's a nude shoe). Cut your dress time in half by selecting a nude shoe to cut out the worry of trying to find something to match.

A great side note when choosing shoes in any situation dealing with prints is to pick a color from your printed garment that stands out to you and match your shoes and accessories to that.
