Police searching for robbery suspect

CLOVIS — Clovis police were searching for a man suspected of robbing a Clovis store on 21st Street Tuesday night.

According to a release from the department:

• Police were called to the Family Dollar at 420 W. 21st Street before 10 p.m. Tuesday Staff said a man robbed them at gunpoint and fled.

• The man was described as a 5-foot-8 black male with a slim build wearing a dark hooded sweatsirt, dark pants and black shoes. The man had a handgun and wore a black bandanna over his face.
