Flags at half-staff for Maj. Andrew Becker

SANTA FE — Gov. Susana Martinez on Friday issued the third executive order to fly flags at half-staff to honor a Cannon Air Force Base member killed during a March 14 training exercise.

Flags are ordered at half-staff from sunrise to sunset today in honor of U.S. Air Force Maj. Andrew Becker.

Becker, Capt. Frederick Dellecker and Capt. Kenneth Dalga, members of Cannon Air Force Base’s 318th Special Operations Squadron, were honored as a group with a Tuesday flag lowering from Martinez’ office. Dellecker and Dalga were honored individuall Thursday and Friday, respectively.

Becker was posthumously promoted from the rank of captain, according to the proclamation.
