Road work slated for Monday

PORTALES — The Roosevelt County Road Department will be working on one mile of South Roosevelt Road X between New Mexico 236 and South Roosevelt Road 2 as of Monday, according to a county public service announcement. The road work is projected to be completed by April 13.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternative routes and to drive slow through the construction zone.
