The eighth annual Spring Trout Derby will be held from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. March 25 at Oasis State Park. Registration for the event will begin at 7:30 a.m., and will cost $5 per entrant, plus a $5 park entry fee per vehicle for non-annual pass holders. Participants 12 and older must have a valid New Mexico fishing license.
Local anglers of all stripes will have the chance to win big while helping a local entity at an upcoming fishing event.
