Biggest Catfish Challenge Derby — Oasis State Park’s sixth annual event is open to all ages. Derby hours are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Cost: $5 park entrance and $5 entry fee. Those 12 and up must have a valid New Mexico fishing license. Two prize categories — adult (16-and-older) and junior. Information: 575-356-5331
